Workbook policies

Effective October 6, 2026

Digital workbook license

Each Telos workbook purchase includes a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for the purchaser and that purchaser’s internal organization. You may download, store, print, and adapt the workbook for your organization’s own planning and grant-development work. You may share it internally with employees, board members, and volunteers who are working on that organization’s grant efforts.

You may not resell, redistribute, publicly post, sublicense, or use the workbook to provide paid services to multiple client organizations without written permission from Telos Grant Writing, Inc. Consultants and fiscal sponsors should contact hello@telosgrantwriting.com to discuss an appropriate license.

Refund policy

Because digital workbooks are delivered immediately, all sales are generally final once access is provided. Telos will gladly help resolve a duplicate charge, a corrupted or missing file, or a technical delivery problem. Contact hello@telosgrantwriting.com within 14 days of purchase with your order information. This policy does not limit any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Terms of use

Telos workbooks are educational planning resources. They are not legal, accounting, tax, or compliance advice, and they do not guarantee grant funding or application success. Purchase or use of a workbook does not create a consulting, attorney-client, or other professional-services relationship with Telos Grant Writing, Inc. Organizations remain responsible for confirming funder requirements, validating their information, and obtaining professional advice appropriate to their circumstances.

Disclaimer

Effective immediately · October 6, 2026

Telos workbooks and resources help organizations prepare grant materials; they do not guarantee funding or replace professional advice. This Disclaimer applies to all products, free resources, and content on telosgrantwriting.com.

No guarantee of funding

Completing a Telos workbook does not establish eligibility for any grant or guarantee an award. Funding decisions are made by funders and depend on factors outside our control, including funder priorities, competition, available funds, and the quality and accuracy of your application. Any examples, results, or testimonials we share describe individual experiences and are not a promise of similar results.

Educational information, not professional advice

Our products provide general educational information about grant readiness and grant development. They are not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Questions about your tax-exempt status, financial statements, budgets, contracts, or compliance obligations should go to a qualified attorney, accountant, or other professional. Buying a product does not create a consulting or client relationship with Telos.

Not affiliated with any government agency

Telos is a private business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the Internal Revenue Service, Grants.gov, SAM.gov, or any federal, state, or local government agency. Registration with SAM.gov and Grants.gov is free through the official government websites. Our products explain how to prepare for registration; they do not register your organization.

Verify current requirements

Funder guidelines, government registration rules, and application systems change often. Our materials reflect our understanding as of the date stated in each product. Always confirm eligibility, deadlines, forms, and submission instructions using the funder's or agency's current official sources before you apply.

Examples are fictional

Worked examples and sample organizations in our products are fictional and are included for illustration. Do not copy example language into an application as a statement about your own organization.

Our products and site link to third-party websites, including government resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.

We work to keep our materials accurate, but they may contain errors or omissions. If you find one, please tell us at telosgrantwriting@gmail.com so we can correct it.
